MBA面试应对技巧

※ 如果说考试分数，工作经历和个人陈述是商学院第一要考虑的因素的
　 话，那么面试就像推荐信一样是一个有益的补充，特别是当商学院认
　 为书面材料还不足反映一个真实完整的你的时候。这时，面试可以增
　 商学院对你的了解。

※ 并非每个商学院都要求申请者参加面试。对于一些商学院来说，面试
　 只起到了检验材料的作用。另外一些商学院却把它当作最后决定因素
　 ，特别是那些出于“边缘”的申请（maybe类型）。不过，大部分商学
　 院 还是鼓励申请者参加面试。如果你不能亲自到校园参加面试，商学
　 院 会安排一个在你附近的校友给你面试。

※ 如果商学院约你面试，拿住这个机会。就个人而言，你可能比别的申
　 请者更具有竞争力。你可以利用面试来弥补你材料上可能出现的弱点
　 。最重要的是，你可以通过面试表现出你的热情，幽默和成熟。

※ 我们强烈建议：积极地安排你的面试。由于商学院招生办人员数量有
　 限，所以不可能为每一个申请者安排面试。通常说来，处于面试时间
　 段后面的面试时间较短，所以尽量早一点投寄申请材料，争取较早地
　 获得面试机会。

※ 表现优秀的面试可以将那些濒临deny的申请推向admit。那么，你怎样
　 才知道自己的表现如何呢？镇定和集中最为重要。再次便是你是否表
　 达清楚。如果给你面试的人约你下周一起爬山的话，那么你的运气很
　 好。

※ 一个平平的面试对你的申请不会有太大的影响，除非你的申请濒临
　 “deny”。在这种情况下，招生办事实上是在找理由拒绝你，而不是
　 找理由录取你。如果你对自己的申请没有较大的把握的话，面试对
　 你尤其重要。

※ 在你参加面试的时候，你是否穿着一件印有卡尔·马克思商标或者字
　 样的衬衫呢？你是否带着你妈妈一起去参加面试呢？假如是这样的
　 话，你的这个面试就很糟糕。糟糕的面试足足可以掩盖你优秀GMAT
　 成绩和 工作经历。

※ 面试的话题可以细到你工作中的具体职责，也可以宽到你的生活细节
　 。最好不要让面试成为一个回答问题的模式，尽量放松自己。你可以
　 谈谈你的爱好或最近的跨国旅行，不要担心面试离题。

※ 可以这样准备面试：想象一下可能被问到的问题；回答应该比你的个
　 人陈述更深刻（不要假象给你面试的人已经读过你的个人陈述）；将
　 你认为最重要的方面总结为2到3点，有机地联结起来；举一些具体的
　 例子来证明你取得的成绩；多练习一下，避免在面试时老说“I did
　 this, I did that”；最后，准备一个强有力和说服力的理由来回答
　 “为什么选择这个商学院”这个一定会被问到的问题。
